Environmental protection and energy efficiency have a high priority within the Masterflex Group. The basis for this are the management systems for environment DIN EN ISO 14001:2015 and energy DIN EN ISO 50001:2011.

Novoplast Schlauchtechnik has now been successfully certified in both areas.

"We have put a lot of work into it and are very proud," says Stefan Hartleib, Head of Quality Management at Novoplast Schlauchtechnik. "We want to avoid negative impacts on the environment and use resources with the utmost care."

The ISO 14001 standard requires companies and organizations to identify environmental impacts and environmental aspects and to introduce measures to improve processes in key areas. The ISO 50001 standard also offers a systematic approach to improving energy efficiency. Annual periodic audits and re-certifications after three years support the continuous improvement process.

The certificates were issued by TÜV Süd.
