Compamed 2017: Novoplast Schlauchtechnik and Fleima-Plastic showcase customised combined products

Medical devices 'Made in Germany' ‒ words that are synonymous with Novoplast Schlauchtechnik and Fleima-Plastic. The two medical device specialists within the Masterflex Group will be exhibiting both tried-and-tested products and projects developed to customer specifications at this year's Compamed in Düsseldorf.

At its premises in Halberstadt, Novoplast Schlauchtechnik manufactures medical tubing by means of plastics extrusion in clean rooms of ISO classes 6 to 8 while Fleima-Plastic in Wald-Michelbach produces the corresponding injection-moulded accessories, such as clamps, adapters, connectors and protective caps.

In addition to high-quality standard medical articles, such as tubing and connectors, the two companies also offer combined products in the form of complete solutions. Among these are tubes for use where special insertion situations occur, which can be supplied with the appropriate connectors and protective caps. Then there are complex multilumen tubes that are fitted with suitable connectors by means of insert moulding.

The two businesses provide support to clients requiring customised products from initial idea to completion of the individual solution. From product concept through construction, prototype assembly to serial production they manage major parts of the value creation chain.
