Just in time for the HMI 2010 Novoplast Schlauchtechnik GmbH in Halberstadt in addition to is proven, high quality products in the pneumatic field, such as 2-D and 3-D form tubing made from PUR and PA,  presents their innovative product novelty, the “colour change tube” for the first time the world public.

We therefore look forward to present our “colour tube” at the HMI 2010 our broad professional audience as a completely new product.” said Marcel Varges, sales manager of the company Novoplast Schlauchtechnik GmbH.

The tube responds to the influence of temperature and then demonstrates a corresponding colour change. This effect is caused by increasing or declining temperatures of the medium or ambient temperature and made visible. There is a variety of colour combinations (effects), such as from blue to light blue or red to yellow.

The colour change tube is characterized by its excellent resistance to a variety of chemicals. Convincing permeations characteristics  demonstrate itself in conjunction with the media gas, steam and water. The low-hygroscopic tubing offers a wide range of applications. As an example we quote the field of water cooling or the temperature monitoring of various media.
